Llannir Ltd is founded and run by IT Consultant Mike Read. Mike has an extensive background in all areas of IT with a specialist interest in cloud migration. My career in IT started with an apprenticeship at BT Research Labs, followed by attending university as a sponsored student studying Computer Science at Lancaster University.
Since graduating I’ve enjoyed a varied career, working first as an employee, before branching out as a freelance consultant in the last decade.
I’ve been lucky to work on some incredible projects from submarine cabling testing back in the 90s, Web Content Management in the 00s, Real Time Marketing and Journey Orchestration and most recently large scale Cloud Migration Projects. Working across a broad spectrum of organisations both Large Corporates such as BT, Motorola, Kingfisher to smaller Software Product Companies like Alterian or SDL.
Gaining experience in many different sectors including Retail, Utilities, Telecoms.
I now work full time as an independent consultant with a specialism in cloud migration, mostly working remotely from home, which allows me to help clients wherever you are in the world.

I work well in a team and have extensive experience in project management with a preference for using the AGILE framework where practical.
